SHE SELLS SEASHELLS
This short clip is taken from a longer film that explores the lives of a community of clam-pickers who survive off of the low tide season in Go Cong, South Vietnam, where the Mekong Delta River meets the Sea. It is a short cinematic essay about the people and their process of harvesting clams from the sea floor. The beautiful seascape that these communities of clam farmers work in, sometimes run for miles with such shallow water levels that everybody looks like they’re walking on water.
